Name/Title

Navajo Storm Rug

Description

Navajo square center "storm" pattern rug with a black border followed by a narrow white inner border. The sides of the borders are serrated triangles. The central figure is a white hourglass shape within a black box. The corners of the box radiate out in steps towards the corners and each end in a black box with a red interior, and with a set of stacked yellow triangles in the center. At the center of the top and bottom are black "waterbug" features, each with red squares on either end of the central horizontal bar. Between the waterbug and the central hourglass are five white zig zag bands, possibly representing water. On each side are two sets of stacked red triangles surrounded by stacked black triangles.
