Sturdy basket with a nice knob top. The basket is decorated with four faded cruciform designs in red with one apparently purposefully entered purple stitch on one side of one of the figures. The lid is decorated with four triangular designs that are nearly faded away on the surface but fully visible on the interior. Structurally the basket is in great shape- its primary issue is a section of the lid where the stitches appear to have been scratched away- my guess is that one owner had a cat!Ethnography
