Name/Title

Ash Splint Basketry Covered Bottle

Description

Unusual Northeast splint covered bottle with large numbers of curly cue twists. The bottle glass is amber colored, and from the lip that is visible, appears to have been made in a turn mold. The basketry is possibly Penobscot or Mi'kmaq "Micmac".
