Navajo Yei Rug

Description

Rug depicting two Yei figures, both with a feathered staff in each hand, standing on either side of a corn stalk. The rug has a thick black border and a grey background. To the right side of the corn tassel is a 1.5" stripe consisting of two weft rows of red followed by two weft rows of blue. The rug was woven "sideways" from the figures- the top and bottom selvage cords are on the outsides of the Yei figures.
