Puerto Rican Vejigante MaskDescription
Large devil-like Vejigante mask made by the famous Puerto Rican artist Juan Alindato. The mask has two large horns extending upwards from the back of the top of the head, another horn extending from the forehead, one from each side of the head and one from the chin. It has large pointed "eyebrows" extending out from above the eyes, and a protruding snout with large pointed teeth. The background color of the mask is primarily black, which is decorated with spots of white, green, yellow, red, orange and blue. The background color of the area around the eyes and the eyebrows is olive green.Use
