Large cooking bowl made by noted Northfork Rancheria weaver Ida Bishop, commissioned by Craig and Jennifer Bates around the time their son Carson was born. They cooked in it several times. It has classic Western Mono design elements including both vertical and horizontal designs. It is in great shape, with evidence of having been used for cooking- wear from stirring.
