English: Vicar General of Our Most Holy Lord, the Pope Ordinary Judge of the Roman Curia and its District, etc. To all and any who shall inspect the present letters, we make known and attest that we, for the greater glory of God and the veneration of His Saints, have recognized these particles from the bones of Saint Marguerite Bourgeoys, Virgin, and Saint Marguerite d'Youville. These we have reverently placed in a silver case of oval shape, well sealed, tied with a red cord, and marked with our seal. We have delivered them with the faculty of retaining them and exposing them to the public veneration of the Faithful, according to the norms of Canon Law (nos. 1282 and 1289). In witness whereof, we have ordered these testimonial letters, signed by our delegate and secured with our seal, to be issued.
