Publii Ovidii Nasonis Metamorphoseon, Liber Decimus Tertius
Entry/Object ID

Description
This is a book containing the thirteenth book of Ovid’s Metamorphoses in 48 pages. It was probably made for college students to carry with them.
This book belongs to a pair of French schoolbooks from the 18th century, each in recycled manuscript vellum wrappers (the other one is Prosodia Latina).
The binding consists of a portion of a French legal instrument of some sort, ca. 1600, stab-sewn at binding.
There are blank pages interleaved till page 23, containing a running handwritten translation of the Latin, which might be student work.
