A decanter is a vessel into which wine is poured from its original bottle and from which it is served. The purpose of decanting is to aerate the wine to improve its taste and to serve wine without including its possible sediments. Glass etching is a technique of creating art on the surface of glass by applying acidic, caustic or abrasive substances.
