Ann Gray Taylor completed her medical education at the Woman’s Medical College in 1918 and specialized in obstetrics and gynecology. Dr. Taylor also pursued advanced training in the United States, Vienna, Stockholm, and Dublin.
In 1925, Dr. Taylor was appointed Instructor of Obstetrics at the Woman’s Medical College and was put in charge of the Barton Dispensary, an off-campus facility where community health services were provided.
During her years of service to the Hospital and College, she served as President of the Medical Staff and Professor and Chairman of Obstetrics. Upon her retirement in 1958, she was named Professor Emerita of Obstetrics.
