After graduating from Temple University School of Medicine in 1936, Maurice Sones, M.D., served for six years in the U.S. Medical Corps during World War II. He joined the faculty of the Woman’s Medical College of Pennsylvania and became Chief of the Medical Outpatient Department in 1947, positions he held until his death in 1981. Dr. Sones served as President of the Medical Staff in 1972 and 1973.
