This wine cooler matches Louis Philippe’s Tuileries Palace dinner table service. Each of his palaces had a different dinner table service. The table services produced at the Sèvres factory were highly prized and extremely expensive. They were purchased by royalty and the aristocracy and also given by the king as diplomatic gifts to foreign courts and visiting dignitaries.
