Description

This cabinet card photograph shows a portrait of a woman, facing the PL, wearing a string of pearls. At the bottom of the front can be seen "Sarony" printed in cursive and "37 UNION SQR" printed in capital letters. On the back of the card is written in ink, in cursive "Josephine Gilbert Wing-" Printed in the center is "Sarony" (in cursive) and "GOLD MEDAL PARIS, 1878. 37 UNION SQUARE, NEW YORK. At the bottom is printed, "NEGATIVES PRESERVED. DUPLICATES MAY BE OBTAINED AT ANY TIME. ELEVATOR FROM THE STREET."
