Quilt made by Florence Day McKamey, "Grandmother's Flower Garden," or simply "Flower Garden," pattern. Cotton prints, probably dress (and not sack) fabric. Predominately white background. Flowers begin in center and then radiate in circular pattern. Central flower is pink followed by green ring of flowers, purple ring of flowers, yellow ring of flowers, blue ring of flowers, pink ring of flowers, and a green ring of flowers. Six-sided patches have six-sided quilting inside. Edge of quilt is deeply scalloped, all bound. Backing is white. Hand pieced, hand quilted. 1930s-1940s.
