.4 Waste bowl, extra silver plate, bowl body on pedestal base, open top, engraved with "Hoxsie" in Old English font on front center round medallion nameplate, two rows of bead beaded trim--top of bowl and flared tip, machine turning decoration on bowl/basketweave effect with band of Greek key design around body, marked 6XXX on interior lid, base stamped "[original manufacturer's name-rendered illegible] / COMPANY with "No. / 1835 / 5" centered between, attached metal tag marked "ROGERS & BRO. [with star at either end] / EXTRA PLATE / WATERBURY CT.," base also marked 6X91.7, manufactured by Rogers & Bro. (Waterbury, Conn.), 11"h x 10"w, 1866. Appears original manufacturer's name is rubbed out; attached metal tag shows Rogers & Bro.Made/Created
