Beading plane (makes 1/4"w bead in wood), wood rectangle, slot in top for blade and wood blade holder, box wood insert on bottom for better wear, cuts 1/4" raised bend on wood, brand and logo "eagle in circle" on front, 1/4 on back, marked 37, without blade ("iron"), eagle stamp on end with company name C. S. SEE, manufactured by C.S. SEE, 5 1/4"h x 9 1/2"w x 1 1/8"d, 1829-1846.
Stamp out of ordinary. See was a planemaker in New York City from 1829-1846 and in Watertown. Better quality.
