Tongue plane (one of tongue-and-groove se, cuts raised beadt), wood rectangle, diagonal slot for blade and blade holder, 3/8" size, stamped with model no. 78, marked "OHIO TOOL CO" at front, marked "75" and 3/8" at back, set back piece of wood with blade extended beyond, metal plate screwed to guide to prevent wear, indents front and back both sides for finger holds, divided blade (cuts raised bead), steel piece screwed in to prevent wear, manufactured by Ohio Tool Co. (Columbus, OH, very small type logo), 5 3/4"h x 9 1/2"w x 1 1/8"d, 1851-1913.
Almost as new.
