Description

Modified plane (makes groove, such as around chest of drawers, 1/2", instead of attaching one); owner modified), H. CHAPIN, wood rectangle, diagonal cut top to bottom for blade and blade holder, marked "H. Chapin" at front, "1/2" and "23" on back, manufactured at Pine Meadows near New Hartford, Conn., 1828-1897.
