Description

Adjustable dado plane, No. 47, wood rectangle, two blades, vertical front with brass depth stop, 3/8"w blade with raised middle, back 3/8" diagonal blade at dado opening, stamped "3/8" on back, "47" on front with company name in plane outline, manufactured by Ohio Tool Co. [with plane logo] (Columbus, OH), 5 5/8"h x 9 1/2"w x 7/8"d, 1851-1913.OHIO TOOL CO. [company name within wood plane logo]. Rare to find plane with front iron still in place. Depth stop appears modified; could be removed to use on following adjustable dado plane. Very artistic.
