Description

Work box* from Walker Sisters cabin (porch), handmade and primitive, constructed from rough wood, shelved/slotted according to orientation, curved sides, 6"h x 14 1/2"w x 8 1/2"d (resting flat). * Described as a candle box by great-granddaughter Glenda [Hurst] but may have been used for weaving tools, etc. as there is no trace of wax. Unknown whether it was hung or laid flat. Ron Hamilton found broken knife blades in cracks.
