a) Banner quilt for Congressional Medal of Honor Convention (Knoxville), design topped by map of Tennessee with each county outlined, convention logo at center, star for Knoxville in Knox County, Sunsphere at base of CMOHS seal, four pillars hold emblems of each service represent East Tennessee Veterans Memorial, pillars inscribed with names of 32 Medal of Honor recipients from Tennessee and 12 born in Tennessee but attributed to other states, motto of each branch of service in border [top - Above All (Air Force), right - This We'll Defend (Army), left - Semper Fidelis (Marines), bottom - Honor, Courage, Commitment (Navy)] with dogwoods, eagle on either side of CMOHS logo, designed/pieced/appliques by Kit Brown, quilted by Cyndi Hermann, 83"h x 82"w, 2014.
Quilt top red center, white inner border, large dark-blue border, quilt back in peacock blue with appliqués patch explaining quilt and names of designer and quilter.
