Carved figure of standing shepherd, painted wood, holds black staff with right hand and leans head against its top, brown eyebrows, black eyes, red mouth, black Amish-style beard, brown wide-brim hat, blue blanket over left shoulder, burgundy jacket with red buttons and trim, orange breeches, black shoes and no stockings, green base, made by Fickey family (Germany), 4 15/16"h x 2 1/4"w x 1 7/16"d, 1780-1880.
