Carved figure of standing shepherd, painted wood, holds staff with right hand/left hand raised, dark-green hat with very tall center and brown base with red feather(?), black eyes/eyebrows/hair, red mouth, blue tunic with brown trim, red pants, black shoes, dark-green base, made by Hickey family (Germany), 5 5/8"h x 1 7/8"w x 2 5/16"d, 1780-1880.
