Description

Hammock for doll made (by tradition) by Margaret Cecil Peak Bundren, russet-and-gold cotton crochet filet, middle section in russet then gold 1" stripe then russet, gold pillow at one end, cloth-covered paper inserted inside, hand-knotted two-tone fringe on longer sides, crocheted cards attached to short ends 5" long then attached to 7/8" metal ring to hang, rings appear to be brass, 31"h x 14"w, c. 1911.
