Description

Carved standing male figure, painted wood, black shoulder-length hair, black pupils on white eyes, pink cheeks, red mouth, full beard, green collar, maroon cuffs, mid-gray jacket, blue apron, dark-gray trousers, black shoes, right arm attached to figure with metal (iron?) at shoulder, black wide-brim hat in right hand, black woven basket over left wrist, dark-green base (remnant of paper Chrysler ad on bottom), made by Hickey family (Germany), 7 5/8"h x 4 1/4"w x 3"d, 1730-1880. Excellent Pin in right shoulder dark and lightly rusted, hat reattached to right hand, base split in center.
