Narrow piece of wood with a hole drilled into each end. These holes fall on opposite sides of wood. A piece of f rope has been threaded through each hole and tied into a knot at the end. Known as a "twister" within the Frazier family, twisted around the animal's (horse, mule) upper lip and secured to wall hook to keep the animal in place. c. 1900Collection
