Description

Wool cards. Rectangles of wood fixed at an angle to wooden handles. Small metal bristles installed on a cushion (possibly leather) are on the rectangle of wood. Metal bristles are all bent forward slightly. Cushion tacked into wooden rectangle. Back of cards marked "THE FLY ------/ OLD WHITTEMORE PATENT/ IMPROVED/ No. 5/ WOOL/ L.S. WATSON & CO./ LEIC----- ----." Small holes at bottom of each card with leather loops to hang cards. early 20th century.
