Milk bottle from Riverside Dairies, round clear glass, front marked in red lettering in red circle "RIVERSIDE DAIRIES / GRADE [with A enlarged] / J. A. KEIS DIAL 2-0123 / RIVERSIDE (with gradated lettering/large center R and double-line border) / TRADE MARK / PASTEURIZED / MILK / CHOCOLATE / MILK, reverse marked "LET US SERVE YOU" in shield shape with red background, in red lettering "PASTEURIZED MILK / COTTAGE CHEESE / BUTTERMILK / ICE CREAM / BUTTER / CREAM / ORANGEADE / [double red lines] SPECIAL BABY MILK," perimeter of base embossed "ONE QUART LIQUID / REGISTERED SEALED BB 48" and just below ML 595 [below ONE] / A below REGISTERED / 26 below 8 (B B 48), base embossed with "18 [Owens-Illinois symbol - vertical oval with 1 overlayed by horizontal diamond] 1 [no period] / [llarge] R D [no Duraglas at heel]," 9 3/4"h x 3 3/4" diam., 1931*. * 1 to right of Duraglas symbol indicates 1931, howerver 18 indicates the Columbus, Ohio, plant, which ran between 1932-1948. (?)
