Description

Blouse/shirtwaist of Mary Ann Larue French, black ?, mandarin collar, pleated front and back, front pleated band with seven covered buttons, two outer pleats stitched partway down, two pleats each side on reverse/smaller pleats at center bottom to narrow waist, puff sleeves with black silk cuffs, band of ties to fasten at front waist, attached peplam, back shorter than front, handmade/assumed by Mary Ann Larue French, 22"h x 18"w, c. 1860s.
