Petticoat, white linen and lace, very bouffant, five gores for fullness with rows of small tucks starting 11" down from top with 20 tucks 5 1/4"deep, another series of 1/4" tucks start 7" up from lace trimmed bottom and form 5 1/4" band, tucked gathered 26" deed flounce sewn onto petticoat just below top band of tucks, three bands of 10 tucks and 2 1/2" deep with three insets of 2 1/2"w crochet lace, between bottom band of tucks 3" deep with 3" deep scalloped crochet lace and edge, very tight gathers at back waistband, side and front only slightly gathered, handmade, 41"h x 52" at hem, waist 11", c. 1920s.
