a) Molding/dado [rabbet]plane, "A.C. BARTLETT'S / OHIO PLANES" stamped perpendicular to "146" on front end, "1 1/2" stamped on back, possibly modified by owner for special purpose, manufactured by Sandusky Plane Co. for H.S. B. & Co. [Hibbard Spencer, Bartlett and Co.], 5"h x 9 1/2"w x 1 3/8"d, 1883-1920s. Makes grooves. Possibly modified by owner for special purpose.* b) Blade, metal. c) Wedge * per ETHS Collections Committee member/tool expert Buford Blanton, 10/10/2017 Makes grooves. Dado [rabbet plane]. (L)
