Pair of Whittemore No. 10 cotton cards from Edwards farm, wood/metal/leather, rectangular paddle head marked with faint lettering "GENUIN[E]/ WHITTEMORE COTTON/ No. 10/ WARR[?...]/ BECKWITH [?...]/ STAFFORDSHIRE [?]/ ESTABLISHED [? ...] , numerous rows of fine metal teeth on opposite side bordered by narrow leather strips tacked to wood, handle with flat and rounded sided fits into paddle head and is held with three tacks, cotton fibers remain in brush, 3/4"h x 10 1/4"w x 9"d, unknown age/c.1880s-1890s.
