Wooden spindle from American Enka, there are three different colors of wood (one end is red, the middle is tan, and the other end is brown), there is a hole at each end that is a hollow line through the spindle, each end has eight nail heads visible, on the red end there is a small circle (1 cm) next to the hole, on the brown end the numbers "6" and "49" are imprinted between nail heads on either side of the hole, 5 1/2"h x 4 3/4" diam.
