Black and white photo of the memorial service for Father Crowley on Palm Sunday [April 11] 1954.
Included with the photo is a typed note from Helen Gunn that says, "Memorial to the Padre of the Desert / Palm Sunday 1954 / Left to right: Helen (small hat) behind girls with veils, Pat Cole (man leaning against car), Mrs. Jack Warner (kneeling, small hat), Leland Abel, sisters, Father George Crowley (brother of the Padre, at elevation of host), Sister Petra (the Padre's sister, at right end of the Sisters). The photograph does not give you the true number of those who were there. There were hundreds."
Stamp on reverse says, "Victor A. Stadelman P.O. Box 159 China Lake Calif."Collection
