Color photo of the remains of a guard or sentry watch tower that was originally at Manzanar War Relocation Center. Its location in the photo is near Brady's Cafe.
Label that went with this photo says, "Possibly the only original Manzanar sentry watch tower is located here at the Brady's Cafe and Mobil Station slightly north of the hiway 14 and the hiway 395 turnoff. The tower was purchased in 1946 and set up where it is located today."
A second label, added later, says, "The sentry tower located at the Brady's Cafe was dismantled and cut up for firewood in September 1985."Collection
