Photograph of the crew responsible for the construction of the auditorium at Manzanar War Relocation Center in 1942. The donor's father, J. W. Lawing, is shown in the center row, fourth from the left. On his left is a gentleman named Mr. Sanderson, and in the center of the second row is Mr. Ralph P. Merritt.
Written in black ink on reverse: Manzanar California 1942, Japanese Concentration Camp, J. W. Lawing building recreation building in camp.
A label with this photo says, "Auditorium 1942 J. W. Lawling Construction."
Front row, 5th from right is Yukio Morimoto and 4th from right is [first name unknown] Okamoto, a courin of Yukio. They were identified on 04/27/2013 by Yukio's son.
