Mounted photograph of Irwin's Old Corner Saloon in Independence about 1885-1886. There are eight people (men and boys) standing or sitting on the front porch. They are identified from left to right as John Irwin, Bert Rhine, Mr. Wells, Mr. Barnes, Mr. Brady, Mr. Hiller, Pete Mairs, and Arthur Robson or Robinson. At one time this saloon was named the Aldine Saloon and later was Jack Gunn's Saloon. Stamped on reverse in purple ink with photographer Jas. H. Crockwell's information. He was based out of Salt Lake City, Utah. Irwin's Old Corner Saloon was located on the southwest corner of Highway 395 and Market St.
