On reverse: Slim's Place in the ghost town of Ballarat in Panamint Valley (Calif.) was the home of prospector Seldom Seen Slim, whose given name was Charles Ferge, was the region's last one-burro-and-a-blanket prospector, but he too finally left his borros for a jeep.
