Description

Mounted photo of Southern Pacific locomotive #1114 in front of a two story building. There are eight men in the photo, and one man is sitting on a mule-drawn buggy. Written on reverse: Percy Bundy with donkey. The switch engine in Mojave, 1904 or 1905. The donor included a photocopied letter with this photo (not accessioned). It is addressed to Miss Viola Mudget from Percy Bundy (one of the men in the photo), and is dated 04/24/07 from Independence, Cal. In the letter he talks about him and a friend named Belknap getting food poisoning from eating a can of cherries and being treated by Dr. Woodin while staying at the Norman House.
