A1011.11Description
Photo mounted on lightweight construction paper (maybe cut out of a photo album?) of three men cutting snow or ice in the Sierra Nevada mountain range. There is a saddled horse to left and a pile of sacks or bags full of snow near lower left corner.
Old interpretative label says: Charlie Robinson packing snow from Robinson Basin, west of Independence in the Sierra Nevada. For many years Robinson sacked the snow and brought it out by mule pack train to Independence.Collection
