Description

This is a white loose leaf binder with documents including letters pertaining repairs, expansion, modifications/replacements and new equipment to and for the Furnace Creek Inn. 1939 = 4 letters and 1940 = 19 letters. At the very back of the binder (last plastic sleeve) is ephemera, which is as follows: - 3 Breakfast tickets good for one meal and must be submitted to cashier. "Fred Harvey, Inc,, Furnace Creek Ranch Resort, Death Valley, CA 92328" at bottom of ticket. Ticket color green and stock paper. - 2 1/2" cloth badge rimmed in black with black letters around the circle "Death Valley Natural History Association" and in brown thread is the head of a long horned sheep. - 3 1/2" paper sticker with deep blue background, two thin red circles creating a border in which "Death Valley '49 ers" in yellow letters at top and "Member" in yellow letters at bottom. In center is an image of a man walking next to a team of ox and a covered wagon. - 1 1/2" wood disk with "5th Anniversary Death Valley National Park" printed on it in forest green ink. white loose leaf binder with insert on front; 22 pages, 10" wide, 11.5" high x 1" thick/deep. Each page is in a plastic sheet.
