Handwritten in blue ink on reverse: 1913--Mamie [Reynolds] is leaning not the Black Metal Saloon! Mamie Hession Reynolds. 1918 appointed to serve as County Recorder and served 30 yrs. Resigned 1949--loved by all. Born Big Pine March 17, 1884 died Bishop Nov. 4, 1962. Married to Silas H. Reynolds in Independence Feb. 16, 1910--came to Darwin 1 month later and lived there til store and all burned down July 7, 1918. Was Post Master.Collection
