Photo postcard of the main street in Indpendence. Shows wide dirt road with buildings lining each side. Lots of trees shade the businesses. No signs are visible. There is a horse drawn buggy parked along the right side. It is labled "Independance [sic], Cal."
The postcard was written by Helen M. Gunn to Miss B. D. Lull of Los Angeles. "I arrived home safely and leave for S. F. [San Francisco] to-morrow. 308 Capp St." There is no stamp or cancellation mark, so likely never sent.
This photo postcard was loose in album, and has been added at the end not knowing where it was orginally located.Collection
