Panel showing where various locations and ruins/remains were located within Manzanar War Relocation Center.
It consists of a map of Manzanar War Relocation Center in the center with 27 photos (color and B&W) connected with their historical location on the map via lengths of colored string and pins. There are fourteen labels identifying the locations in the photos, which include the guayule area, Caucasian mess hall location, entrance way to Pete Merritt's house, entrance way to Caucasian housing, south end of camp, motor pool and gasoline pump foundation, residence of Manzanar Project Director Ralph P. Merritt, main entrance to U.S. flagpole foundation, remains of automobile parts, Block 22 with pond and garden, Chicken BBQ pit, Block 21 and Nomura's pole (pole was stolen in 1985), Block 35 Barrack 8, and Police Department Building 6 foundation (Internal Security Police).Collection
