One woman is wearing a white dress with buttons down the front and a train, the second woman is wearing a floral print dress, and the third woman is dressed in a dark dress with a white colllar. This is most likely the occasion of the wedding of Lucretia "Lou" Joslin to County Assessor John C. Irwin on Janurayr 31, 1883. Her wedding dress is also in the museum (1979.227).
