From accession record: Clothes--Japanese kimono made at Manzanar Relocation Center during World War II. Heavy unbleached muslin and dark blue heavy thread. From 1994 inventory record: Kendo Gi. Made by Japanese-American at Manzanar War Relocation Center. Made of heavy unbleached muslin and black thread or string. Worn by Kendo (fencing-bamboo) participants. Has hole and is worn.
