B/w photo of salt carts on rails going up a ramp. The picture seems to have rounded or arched top corners, like a stereoview.
Label says: "Salt cars bringing salt to the terminal in Saline Valley. These cars were operated on a double-track railway, about half a mile long, by an endless rope haulage system operating at a speed of 200 feet per minute. A ten horsepower gasoline engine could move seven loads and seven empties on these tracks. A trestle was built over the mud area at the edge of the salt flat."
