Mounted studio portrait of four young women. Photograph was taken by Edouart and Son of Los Angeles.
Written on reverse in blue ink: Blanche, Marie, Zelia, Eugenie. Four oldest (living) daughters of Charles Meysan.
Old interpretative label says: Four Meysan Girls. Left: Blanche Frances Meysan (Mrs. Thomas Boland), Eugenie Meysan (Mrs. Owen F. Dunn), Marie Victorine Meysan (Mrs. Frank Fitzgerald), Zelia Berthe Meysan (Mrs. Vincent Sentous). This picture is the original from which Mollie Stevens (of Steamboats on Owens Lake fame) made the large charcoal drawing on the west museum wall. Charles Meysan and his wife Madeline Gaudin Meysan had ten children--nine girls and one boy. They lived first at Columbia in the Mother Lode and then at Lone Pine. Their home and General Merchandise store is now the location of "La Florista."Made/Created
