Letter written by Verda Elliott Rhyan to Norman Clyde on 12/14/1917 from La Vina, CA.
La Vina, Calif.
Dec. 14, 1917
Dear Mr. Clyde,
I just came from Mrs. Clyde's room and she is quite ill and ask me to write you about it for she knew you would worry if you did not hear from her. The Drs don't know just what is causing the high temperature (104) and chills as the lungs seem rather clear, but will know more about it in a day or two. Unless she improves soon will send for her mother and she no doubt will keep you posted as to her condition. Hoping you will not worry too much, for she is a brave girl and knows how to fight. I am very sincerely yours, Verda Elliott Rhyan. P.S. Mrs. Clyde has been unusually well lately.Collection
