Description

Photo of a large crowd at a train station. There is a podium with the Southern Pacific Lines logo on it and a sign on either side, which say, "Good-Bye Little Co-so-wy-geens! 40 years and a million miles, you did your job" and "Take Over Diesel No. 1! Among all U.S. iron horses you are in a class by yourself!" There is a long Pullman car behind the platform, and what looks like a water tank beyond that. It was taken during the celebration of the arrival of the "Little Giant" at Owenyo on October 16, 1954.
